FAQ
Do players receive a uniform for participating?
Yes, each player will receive a complimentary, reversible CHILL pinnie! All players from champion teams will also receive a championship t-shirt!
Does the league have a champion at the end of the season?
Yes, each division plays for a championship at the end of the season, provided there are 4 or more teams in a division.
Are players expected to remain at the facility for their division's entire allotted time?
Time slots shown above are the window for when games could occur. Each team will play 2 25-minute games each week; we strive to schedule these games either back to back, or with one game in between. Players will only have to be at the facility for 60-90 minutes within their division's time slot. More detailed schedules will be sent out ahead of play.
Why is team registration not available this year?
In years prior, some teams had well over the suggested roster size due to many of their players having unavailability on certain weekends to ensure they have enough players every week to participate. We will not prohibit this, as we do not want teams to have to forfeit games, but we cannot penalize smaller teams by raising team rates. By having every player register individually, teams are able to have as many players on their roster as they wish (while we do ask to keep playing time in mind). Players will still have the option to enter their team affiliation when registering, allowing them to play with their preferred team.
Will you have restrictions on spectators?
Spectators will be permitted! Games will also be streamed for all to watch via Facebook live on The Edge Arena page.
Will players be able to stay in the building between games?
Yes. There are sideline areas available to players between games.
If the league is shut down for any reason, will we issue refunds?
If the season gets cancelled before the first date of play, all registrants will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee. Once the season begins, we will not offer any refunds.
